can we pass blank data from HCI job to Job Relationship portlet

We have 4 fields which maps to various job relationships in the organization like Matrix Manager, Delivery Manager, Location HR and Practice Manager. In the job relationship, as per standard, relationship type and Name are mandatory fields. In certain cases, for certain projects, Delivery Manager is unavailable and the same is to be sent from upstream system to SF as blank data. Is this possible in the Successfactors wherein blank data is to be received via HCI interface? The latest data even if the delivery manager is blank, the field should be updated with blank data in the system and any previously associated data should be removed since projects have been changed.

Nope, as (if I'm not mistaken) it is a required field. You could alternatively go for some dummy user instead with a logical name (i.e. To be assigned).
