On the new Learnining homepage, is there a way to disable this pop-up that managers get to send a reminder to their learners? We dont want to use this and would prefer this not to show up at all, or at least not on their homepage.
@JacobB, yes, there is. But the end result may not be the desired one. If the "Access Direct Reports" permission is deleted from the user's role, that pop-up goes away from the home page. However, that'll remove the "Send Reminder" option from the manager also from the "Team View" area.
Thank you for taking the time to respond. We dont want to remove manager access to the Team View entirely so this wont work for us, but I appreciate the response. @PL1 I have read this topic and the comments added to Jacob's enhancement, which has been marked as delivered. The issue still exists for us, the reminder emails on the SF Homepage can be edited, the alert to send reminders on the My Learning Homepage cannot be edited, and the reminder emails on the Team View page can be edited. Therefore as the alert on the Homepage does not allow editing we would like to not display that alert, which will just confuse our users. Is there a means for us to hide that alert please, or are you going to make the reminder emails editable on the Learning Homepage? Thanks
@Michelle_Smithard, removing the "Manager Reminders" permission will lead to the removal of the "Send Reminder" from the Learning home page as well. Allowing the edition of emails via the Learning home page doesn't stand to be planned. This is a recent enhancement asking for it, which has been updated by the Learning Product Management team stating that it'd violate design rules.
