Can anyone please help me if we can create SAP Enable Now guided tours in Netweaver Business Client (NWBC)?

Do we have any materials or handouts on how to create, if we can?

Thank you in advance!

Hi Mayuri,

In principle, Desktop Assistant will work with NWBC but there are specific requirements listed at Enable Now PAM on page 12. So it is likely that Desktop Assistant Guided Tours will work with NWBC. You can find details of how to create Desktop Assistant Guided Tours in Producer Help - select Help > Producer Help from within Producer and there is also a section on Desktop Assistant Guided Tours within Info Center. You can access Info Center by selecting Help > Info Center from within Producer.

Hi Shane, As NWBC apps open in browser, Is there any way to activate SAP Companion for Web on NWBC apps?

Thanks

Technically, yes, but I think you'd need to build a 3rd party SAP Companion plugin; I don't believe it is officially supported natively - although you're certainly not the first person to ask, so SAP should probably think about building one themselves...

Hi Mayuri,

I think it may be possible to run SAP Companion with NWBC apps, if they are launched from SAP BTP. However, I suspect that there will be recognition issues for screen objects, e.g. fields and button, so Guided Tours may not be an option. It's possible that you can still use the Learning app component of SAP Companion to distribute content for your NWBC applications but I don't think that object-level recognition is possible. However, Dirk is correct. I you were to consider the use of 3rd party SAP Companion, it 'may' be possible to modify the code that performs object recognition to make it work with NWBC.
