We have configured WebAssistant Custom scenario content for S/4Hana Fiori apps in Dev. At present we are accessing the WebAssistant edit mode by appending the help-editor true in to the url.
If we added the Editor = true to the WebAssistant parameter then everyone starts seeing the edit icon.
The question Is, Do we have a specific role in SAP S/4 HANA that we can assign to users so that only they can see the edit option on WebAssistant panel?

You can create separate Fiori Catalogs for developers and learners, have that parameter only on the developer catalog, create a role for Help Developers, and assign the 'developer catalog' only to that 'developer role'.
However, even if you have a separate role for developers in SAP you still need the role and access in SAP Enable Now as well. So to me this seems like a lot of effort (and ongoing admin, adding/removing this role from people) just to save your developers the effort of typing "&help-editor=true" into the URL when they want to create/edit content.
