Can the SAP Enable Now Manager Web Application be Installed on Linux?

I am looking at architecting an installation of SAP Enable Now, on-premise.

https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_ENABLE_NOW?locale=en-US only has an installation guide for the Manager on Windows Server.

https://enable-now.sap.com/ic/auth/ext/index.html?show=group!GR_F8BA0FC968CD2EB9#group!GR_2C63ECBACB... step 13 states 'The one tier environment can only be set up using a Manager with MS SQL database (On-Premise Edition)'.

As the Manager is a web app that resides on the Apache web server, can it be installed on a Linux server? Is there any documentation stating this, or an installation guide?

Since the release 2211, SAP Enable Now Manager (HANA option) can be installed under "SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15" operating system. For more information, read the SAP Enable Now Manager - Installation Guide (HANA option).

and to follow Hugues update here, if you plan to run SAP Companion Extended Content scenario, this will require a Hana DB, at least it did the last time I checked.

Perfect, thank you.

BTW, where did you find that guide? I would expect it to be here https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_ENABLE_NOW?locale=en-US but it isn't.

Your link is correct. The installation guides are in the "Implement" section of the Help Portal. You need to make sure to select the latest edition of the page (currently 2305), in order to view the latest versions of the guides.

...and you need to log in to the help portal to see the manual. It's hidden for unregistered users.

Thank you - I wasn't logged in. It requires you to be logged in to view that document, you don't need to be to view the others.

Please can someone confirm my understanding - i.e. that the SAP Enable Now Manager and its HANA database can co-exist (and be supported by SAP) on the Red Hat (the versions listed in https://me.sap.com/notes/2235581)?

How I came to this understanding:

Page 9 of The Manager (HANA) - Installation Guide is a bit confusing as it states 'Note SAP HANA database requires to be run on a dedicated server machine with different hardware requirements. Please read the chapter Dependencies for more information.'. I think this is only applicable when using a Windows server as the application server. I am assuming that you can run the Manager application on the same Linux server as the HANA database...

On the same page, he only Linux OS it specifies is 'SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15', however, when I look at the PAM and then select 'Essential Information' it takes me to a second PAM (PDF based), where on page 5 it says 'Please visit the following URL for detailed information on operating systems supported by SAP HANA: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2235581'

That SAP Note states that Red Hat Linux (SAP variants) is supported.
