Can the mobile app be activated Dev or Prod?

Trying to understand if it is possible to activate Mobile app in Dev or does it have to be done in Prod?

Hello Herminia,

as I understood the SAP documentation, there are several activation possibilities for the mobile app available:

Search-Based Activation, Email-Based Activation, MDM-Based Activation and QR Code Activation.

From KBA 2550363 I learned:

"For activation for non-productive instances you can only login/authenticate via Personal QR Code."

So yes, you can activate the mobile app in Dev and Prod. Most likely, the activation method will differ in both instances, though.

Yes, you can activate the SuccessFactors mobile app in dev too.
