Can report distributor validate the reports?

Dear Experts,

I want to transfer a report to another instance. I know that we can validate report via Report- Canvas Validation.

What about report distributor? can we validate via this menu as well?

Hello Hathaipat,

Canvas reports can be validated from 2 places, one of which you have listed:

1. Report Canvas Validation in Admin Center
2. Report Distributor > Admin > Instance Validation

Hi Raghuram,

Thanks for the reply. I read many KBA but its only mentioned about:

- schedule reports for email distribution

- send reports to SFTP

- run report offine

Good to know that we can validate a report via report distributor as well.

Yes, we can validate the report via Report Distributor. However, we CANNOT upload a report via Report Distributor from one instance to another. Is my understand is correct?

To upload report to the instance, there are 2 options:

1. From Report Center > Import
2. From Report Distributor > Admin > Report Transfer
