Business rule for Location as Accrual Recalculation field

Hi,

Can anyone help me with sample business rule for Accrual recalculation and the recalculation field is "Location", which we have added in Time account type.

When I tried to build a rule using "Get Job info string field value on Key date()", I could add it under Accrual rule variable.external code. This is returning numeric value(3 digit code ex: 649).

Please suggest how can we use this 3 digit code to recalculate accruals.

Can you give more information about what you are trying to do? Generally, if I use location, it is in the IF section, and the THEN section has different logic (ie. accrual rate) based on the location.

Alternatively, now that you have set the location, you could use a lookup table to define the accrual if that is what you are trying to do.

For accrual recalculation, we have added "Location" as recalculation field in Time account type.

All accruals will be generated at the beginning of the year i.e., 01/01/2025. If the employee changing Location in the middle of the year, for example, from 01st of April 2025 to some other Location, then to recalculate accruals, I am trying to build a logic using "Get job info string field value on key date ().
