Hi SAP Community,
I have a requirement regarding the budget configuration, and I would like to know if anyone has set up something similar.
In a compensation template with a scope covering multiple countries, a manager can have employees from different countries in their form. The current budget rule is that the budget should not be exceeded. However, the rule only triggers if the total budget is exceeded, and the client wants the system to prevent exceeding the budget at the country level.
At the moment, the budget is configured as follows:
Budget Rule:
Budget Grouping:
Has anyone encountered a similar scenario or configured something like this before? Any suggestions or insights would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

Hi @MariaCarlotaAbreu ,
To my knowledge, this is not possible. Budget rules apply to the population on the worksheet and cannot be segmented in such a way using groupings.
Depending on the number of countries, you could try to use custom config to create one budget per country and remove the grouping. The rules can be applied to each budget this way though you will have more config in the template as a result as each budget requires custom columns.
Thanks,
Christian
