BP for e-Recruitment EHP 5

Hi,

I have deployed Business Packages for e-Recruitment EHP 5 on my portal.The iViews are Web Dynpro ABAP iviews.

I have created a system object to point the portal to the backend e-Recruitment component.

What else do i need to make the iViews run in the portal under Recruiter and Recruiter Administrator roles.

I am getting error pages for all the links under the above roles.

Do i need to configure something in the portal for these iViews.

These are WebDynpro ABAP iViews.

For Java WebDynpro iViews, JCOs are to be created.

How do i make my Webdynpro ABAP iViews work.

Please Help.

Hi,

when deploying the business packages have you also deployed the matching BP Common Parts package? It is always required for e-recruiting.

When defining the system object for the e-recruiting WebAS did you add all required e-recruiting aliases?

Have you created a candidate using RCF_CREATE_USER for your user on the e-recruiting backend WebAs server and assinged sufficient rights (SAP_ALL or check the roles named SAP_RCF*). You will not be able do work in the e-recruiting application in any role if your user does not have a candidate.

My e-Recruitment iViews are working now.I added the IP of the e-Recruitment ABAP box to the hosts file in Portal.

No, i have not deployed Common Parts 1.5.1.

I have deployed BP for E-Recruitment 1.51

I cheked the Common Parts SAP Note 1448100 - Enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP.

It says the following:

BP for Recruiting Administrator 1.51

I checked the PCD location for both Recuriter Admistrator and Recruiter role as given above and these roles are present in the PCD though i did not deploy Common Parts 1.51.

Since I found that these are area already present, I did not see the need of deploying Common Parts 1.51.

Do you still suggest that I should deploy Common Parts 1.51?

Hi,

under the "Reasons and Prerequisites" section the note 1448100 you already found says: "Business Package ERP05 Common Parts Version 1.51 is required to operate the roles listed below."

So as the list includes the roles for recruiter (BP for Recruiter 1.51) and recruiting administrator (BP for Recruiting Administrator 1.51) deploying the common parts business package is mandatory.
