Hi Team,
Currently client is using concurrent employment in EC and will have a new ID with -1 generated as well for the employees on concurrent employment. However, compensation information is not being stored for employee's concurrent assignment in EC.
For bonus calculation in variable pay, the ask is:
Ex: An employee (User ID: 999) who is currently working at a position of Specialist (Grade: Associate) is having a base salary of USD 100,000. He is also having a concurrent employment with designated position as Manager (Grade: Manager). As per system standard behavior, for the employee on concurrent employment, the UserID is created as 999-1, but base salary = 0 (no salary information is stored for concurrent employment in Comp info in EC). The ask is, when the bonus is calculated in variable pay module, it should be done on the employee history record of User ID 999 and not on User ID 999-1. However, the multiplier to be used to calculate bonus should be of Manager grade (which is position/grade of concurrent employment record) and not of Associate grade (which is position/grade of original employment )
Would you please confirm if this is the standard behavior of Variable pay and this requirement could be met using the standard variable pay set-up? @xavierlegarrec
Any suggestions are welcome from other community members! Thank you

Unfortunately there is no mix and match in Compensation nor in Variable Pay in regards to Concurrent Employment or Global Assignment EC features.
Planning / Bonus calculation is either made using the Concurrent Employment record or using the Regular employment.
To meet this customer requirement you will need to use custom workarounds that will involve integration center and MDF objects.
All the best,
Xavier
