Blue highlights around the text in SF Carrier module

With the latest release of Web Assistant I can do special blue highlights around the text like on the picture. Unfortunately it’s available only in SF Carrier module and I don’t see such option for the other modules or the homepage. Any workaround how to use highlights everywhere I want?reflection-with-light-highlighting-around-the-text.pngweb-assistant.png

Hi Sofia,

for me it works to position the icon free on the screen.

I have just create a help tile, assign the hotspot somewhere middle of the screen.

Under Appearance you can then choose the icon and set "Icon Position" to "Manual".

Now you can again work with "Assign Hotspot" to assign it wherever you want to have it on the screen.

Hope that helps.

Best regards, Michael

Note that Manual is no longer available as an option (since a few releases ago...). But you can use the Offset settings to move the location to where you want...

Hi Sofia,

Sorry, I should have mentioned that you can find further information about Web Assistant parameter in the Web Assistant Installation Guide on help.sap.com.

Hi Sofia,

That colour is controlled by a Web Assistant parameter called accentBg. This parameter takes an RGB value that defines the colour that you would like to use as your highlight colour. For example, if accentBg=92,186,230 it will be a light blue colour. You can replace the RGB value in my example with the RGB value that you require and you will get the highlighting you are seeking.

Hi Shane, i have a follow up question regarding changing the color of hotspot. I'm using the parameter 'accentBg'. The color of the tile and arrow has changed accordingly. However, the color of the hotspot ring still remains the same. May I know if there's any part that I'm doing it wrong? Thank you.

Hi Natalie,

Sorry, I've listed the wrong parameter here. Hotspots are grouped into two categories, normal and important. The colour of the normal hotspots is set using the HSIconBg parameter and the colour of the important hotspots is set using the parameter HSIconImpBg. Each of these parameters is set to an RGB value, e.g. HSIconBg=255,0,102. The details of these parameters can be found in the What's New notes for SAP Companion and also in the SAP Companion Integration Guide.

Regards
Shane

Michael, thanks for reply, but my question isn't connected with location of hotspot.

The issue is: inside carrer module we can create the hotspot with lightblue line around the text(added the screenshot), but on the home page when i try to create the hotspot, i can do it but without lightblue line arround the text, because i have noticed that this option is only available for carrer department in module.

Best regards,

Sophia
