The Requirement is the configuration of a different Birthday alert message for a specific Country. There are 50 countries in the system and a particular alert message for birthday is set for all the countries and it gets triggered everyday. But we want a different alert message for 'South Africa' country employees. Please help us in writing a perfect business rule to make this happen.

Dear shahbaz_123,

You have to define the if condition in the rule per country. One sample below to try to hep you as a starting point.

Thank you.

Hello Karen Perez, But if we take employment details as the base object, then how can we assign it to the custom object we have created that is Birthday?

Hello Karen,

The above business rule you have sent for the standard one, can you please tell me the whole procedure how to trigger notification without using custom object. It would be of great help.

Thanks,

Shahbaz

Dear shahbaz_123,

As highlighted in my note, it was just a sample for you to check the conditions, not the parameter. Please follow the blog for the details you are looking for for your MDF.

Thank you.

Dear Karen,

we are refering to the blog you have sent, but while we are writing the rule to bifurcate two different alerts for two different locations its not happening, and when we are tracing the rule, its showing job information parameter and job information model parameter, none of them is applicable. But as we need the location of south africa, so job information is a needed parameter.

Dear shahbaz_123,

In your MDF alert rule you must use the MDF parameter, not job info. For you to use the location or Country, this data should also be part of your MDF Birthday. When setting up the Integration Center, algo copy this info to the MDF and use in the rule.

Thank you.
