BIB Integration error - Use of EC assignment ID is enabled, but * isn't a valid personnel number

Hello Everyone,

We are Implementing Integration (BIB) of Employee master data and Org Objects from SuccessFactors Employee Central to S/4 HANA 1909 via CPI Interface.

Interface Build and S/4 HANA mapping Config has been completed and we have tested Interface successfully for Employee numbers with Eight digits successfully.

In SF- EC there are around 2000 Employees with more than 8 digits Employee number, but as SAP will not support Personnel numbers more than 8 digits we are unable to replicate them and getting error "Use of EC assignment ID is enabled, but * isn't a valid personnel number"

Client has suggested for below customization that has been implemented in other entity:

• Info type 709 should store all the Employee numbers replicated from SF and SAP system has to generate new Personnel number for each Employee with Internal number range.

• In PA20 screen, we should display two Fields for searching Employee-Personnel number Field( SAP generated number) and Personnel Assignment number Field( SF Employee number) in below format.
