Hello,
We are looking for a partner to enrich our learning content catalogue and we have been looking at options such as SkillSoft, LinkedIn, Go1, Litmos and many more. We need to be able to provide content in French and English as a minimum as we have a strong presence in Quebec but also accross Canada and the States.
We would like to have a partner that increases our learner's experience but also simplifies our learning content management. Few roadbloacks were encountered and I would appreciate if you could share your experience or advice on the choice you made and why?
We discovered some painpoint rendering our decision harder:
- lack of localization of title and description once imported in SF (our employees must be able to search in both French and english)
- Random Item ID clashing with our naming convention and making reporting analysis and grouping harder
- Limited data returning to SF, only completion status.
Thanks a lot!

Hello there,
We have seen most customers using Linkedin Learning, and a few uses Go1.
The behaviour is the same where the OCN providers send the item in as a URL, and users will be redirected to the respective OCN website. Based on memory, LiL has content in different locales, and a similar applies to Go1, but availability will depend on your subscription.
You may also need to consider if your organisation prefers to open the content inline or in a new window. As if using Microsoft Auth linking LMS and the OCN, the OCN items will need to be launched on a new window, as stated in the KBA here.
Thanks,
Sunny
