Benchmarking in SuccessFactors Story Report

We receive requirements from the business to compare/benchmark some HR metrics, for example, turnover. The idea is to allow managers look at the turnover rate of their scope, then see how that compares to the turnover level of the whole company/function.

Is this possible to achieve using Story Report without expanding the access permission of managers to see individual employee data outside of their own scope?

I don't think it's possible in SF (we don't have anywhere permissions for individual and aggregated view separately. To the the data for all company, they need to have permissions to all employees (to some extend). Maybe you can test granting managers permissions only to employee IDs for all company and then do aggregated calculations based on Employee ID Count? Maybe that would work and you'll avoid giving them to many permissions
