Hello,
We have an issue with one of our customers, which is not able to create Extended Workarea: the field 'Base Workarea' does not appear on the WA settings.
Their idea is to have one "Central" WA, with common data for all their end-users, and create several "Specific" WA, based on this Central one, with more restricted data content and access/view.
They have created the Central one, but cannot make the link with the 'sattelite' WA.
They're working wth SEN on-premise, the user trying to do it has Master Author permissions. They don't have access to external data due to security restrictions, so they never (and will never) create any WA with SAP standard content as base.
Not sure if it a permission issue, a version limitation, or ...
Any idea welcome.

Go to Administration > Server Settings and select Enable Workarea Extensibility Feature.
