Backup file in SAP SucessFactors

Hello All-

My customer has a requirement where he wants to view the latest backup file for entire SAP SuccessFactors suite.

I followed KBA- https://me.sap.com/notes/2568976  but didnt get proper answer.

Customer needs to know as when last backup happened along with a screenshot.

Hi @karthik1gobburu ,

Probably your customer will not be able to check the snapshot of the instance backup data.

The available alternative, in case you need to restore any missing configuration and therefore all instance snapshot at that specific moment, is to request for a instance Restore, considering a 30-day backwards window from the day you'll be creating the request, based on the automated backup performed and stored by SF team.

According to below KBA, SF team keeps up to 30 days of backup, and based on the customer needs, any point in time of this period can be used as reference to request the restore.

2218169 - Data Backup Procedures and Restore Process - SuccessFactors Cloud

The KBA you have mentioned (2568976) can be used to backup all instance information for a larger period, upon customer request for this specific activity.

So, currently the options related to SF Backup are:

• https://me.sap.com/notes/0002218169/E - Automated backup Process, always considering 30 days prior to the current day, customer does not need to request it to be available for Restore request. Text extracted from the KBA: "The goal is to have the ability to restore data at any point in time within the 30 day window."
• https://me.sap.com/notes/2568976 - Planned Backup that must be planned by the customer and requested with a ticket, allowing a larger backup period (30/60/90 days).
