Is there a way to setup the assignment of Item B to reflect the backdating/original date of item A, without having to go in manually and update records for all of those users?
@Learning_Discovery, as I understood the situation, I don't think that's possible. It'd be necessary to use the "Edit Required Dates" feature to adjust the assignment date.
Yes, this is what we have figured out. For any matching required dates, we can use the "bulk" update feature. But for everyone else where the dates are spread out - it's just a matter of manually adjusting the required dates for each user.
We were hoping there would be a setup instruction/logic we could apply as there are about 40 users across 19 items. But it it's only 1 time - I guess we'll just have to get through it.
