Currently in our 9box matrix we use two axes: Performance and Potential, both axes are evaluated with 3 levels that are: low, satisfactory and exceeds expectations for Performance and Low, Medium and High for potential.
Because we want to make changes so that managers identify and map employees more quickly, we want to know if that evaluation section (levels, low, satisfactory, etc.) can be hidden or eliminated. Additionally, in your experience, what are the impacts of not having those levels visible or configured in the matrix? (if removing or hiding is feasible, can you share how this can be achieved?)
