we are using SAP SF for recruiting for some time now. Our HCM is on premise. We download the documents uploaded by the candidates from 'our' FTP server (hosted by SAP) with a script. This script runs every 5 minutes but only the first job running after 01:00 a.m. finds documents to download.
My guess is, that the place to which the candidates upload their documents is a different one from where we download them. Can anyone confirm this? I do understand that there are good reasons to do this (central malware check and so on). Most of all, i'm just curious 😉
