Auto Adjustment of Absence in SuccessFactors EC

Hi All

Is it possible to configure the below scenario in employee central?

For e.g if an employee working hours is less than 4.5 hrs the day status should be Absent and in same way if the working hours is more than 4.5 hrs and less than 8.5 hrs the day status should be Half Day and this should happen automatically.

Where are you trying to achieve this (time off/EC?)?
Employee status is linked to the event reason normally, so if you want to achieve this in a LOA record in job info I'd doubt it. Within time off I am not quite sure what you are trying to do here, as you're either absent or not with time off normally (although with half days you could still work half a day for instance). Could you be more specific on what is happing right now (maybe with screenshots?)

Hers is my client requirement.

For e.g. if an employee work schedule is 8.5 hrs in a day and on a particular day employee is working more than 4.5 hrs and less than 8.5 hrs system will automatically make the status as half-day absent.

This we want to achieve in standard Time off.
