Assignment Profile Update - triggered notification to whom?

Hope you're doing well.

Currently I have one AP that excludes one specific Group Company. In the near future, this Group Company will be added to the AP (so won't be any more an exclusion). My question is the following: If I remove 'Company Z' from the Group Company exception and execute the AP again, who will get the assignment notification and the re-assignment? Only 'Company Z' users or all employees who are part of the AP?

I want to inform only 'Company Z' users, not all users who is part of the AP.

@SofiaPSoares, as I understand the situation and depending on the current configuration, "Company Z" users would receive a notification, as they'd be falling in the assignment profile population. The users who are already part of the population shouldn't get a notification. You may run a test in preview to review it. Would it be easier to copy this AP and include only Company Z in that? That way, we know only the new AP users will receive the notifications.
