Assessing End User Proficiency using Test Mode

Trying to figure out the best way to assess End Users using the test mode in Enable Now. Essentially, we need to assign end users to a one or more simulations and test their proficiency on completing the specific steps. We need to be able to track their Individual scores and report out to executives. Is there a way to do this through Enable Now?

Hi Shauna,

you're absolutely on the right track. You can use the test mode of a project created with SAP Enable Now to access the proficiency of your learners step by step.

To prepare for that, you need to activate the tracking option in your Manager. You do this in Producer, go to Tools > Settings> Playback Settings > trainer - Global > Tracking (General) > Tracking Back End > Manager or automatic. And the Manager Detail tracking below you can decide on the granularity.

Then you can assign the test modes or whole projects to learners in the Manager and get the reports from the Learning Reports section, also in the Manager.

Have a look at the different mentions of the test mode in the Producer Manual to find more detailed information.

Take care,

Kristina

Hi, thank you for that information. When I get to Tracking Backend, the options is grayed out and “Scorm (automatic)” is selected. How can I change this?

Also, I have a few more questions on the set up of learners. Is there a way to load users in bulk? I have quite a number of users that we’d like to add to the system so we can track their progress. Will they need log-ins? Thank you in advance.

Hi shauna ,

in order to change those settings, you need to start editing the Resources in your workarea. In Producer, click on View > Workarea Details > Show Resources. Then start to edit the resources to be able to change them. Don't forget to finish editing and publishing them afterwards.

I will answer the second question in a new answer field.

Take care,

Kristina

Hi shauna ,

yes, you can bulk upload users via the excel import tool. Check the Manager Operations Guide to see how to do that.

We do recommend to set up Single Sign On for the users so that you have a direct connection to your user store to automatically update passwords and active status. Check out the Infocenter section on SSO here.

Yes, they will need log-ins if you want to track their progress.

Take care,

Kristina
