Currently, prerequisites only apply to a specific revision of an item. We have many items with relatively minor revisions to them, and we would like the option for all revisions of a particular item to be covered by a prerequisite. We are currently getting many requests form our customers who are not able to enroll to courses because the item has a prerequisite of another revision number than the one in their learning history.
Are there any possibilities to get a workaround for this issue?

Initial Comment:
I know it's been awhile since this question but running into the same issue here. We are integrated with a document management system that will auto-revise our items that we want to have as prereqs to other items. This makes it tedious to make sure to go in every time and update every item when a revision is made or even just making sure we capture all of the prereqs. It would be nice if during revision there was a checkbox to update pre-requisites like the copy substitute or curriculum reference ones.
Edit with possible solution:
After some perusing I found you can assign a curriculum as a prereq to an item. This curriculum could have the item(s) needed as prereq(s) in it and when those item(s) are updated the curriculum is updated with the new version but the prereq won't change for the item.
