hi all
i need a report to create a list of Application id (otype ND) from candidate id (otype NA) and Candidacy id (otype NE). i used table HRP5133 for this purpose. but while testing i am able to find that some of the records don't have any value in APPID field, can you please suggest why APPID is blank and a logic for getting applid from candidacy id or candidate id.
thanks
thomas..

Hi Thomas,
As already mentioned if the recruiter assigns the Candidate to a requisition only a NE Candidacy object will be created, because the Candidate has not yet applied for the position.
At that point the Recruiter has the option to use the Activity "Invite to apply" so the Candidate can apply for the position.
Only after the candidate has applied will the ND object be created.
Kindest Regards,
Keith

Hi Thomas,
If recruiters are assigning candidates to requisitions only a candidacy is created - so there won't be any application ID at all for those.

hi nicole ,
i am really confused, while an external candidate submits an application, a candidacy (original candidacy) is created at the same time as the application. or only by a recruiter means through a Portal only>?
i have created a test external candidate and apply for a job , i am finding records created in HRP1001 with relationship and HRP5133.
please correct me if i understand is wrong.
thanks
thomas.
When candidates apply for a job, system automatically creates a Application Object (ND) and Candidacy Object (NE). But when recruiters assign candidates into a requisition, system only creates Candidacy Object (NE). Thus, in the assignment screen, there is no application date.
