Applicant Number default in IT0139

We are running ECC 6.0 with EHP 4

Integration between PA and Recruitment is turned on.

Features PRELI and PRELR have been turned off.

IT0139 u2013 EEs Applicant Number is being used to store applicant number from 3rd party Recruitment system.

The Applicant number range is configured to be in the external range.

Issue:

When we manually store the applicant number in IT0139 for a PERNR. After saving the record when we try to create an IT0139 record for a different PERNR the Applicant number already used for the first PERNR defaults, but can be overwritten to a new figure.

Example:

1. Type PERNR X in PA30

2. Create IT0139 record with A as Applicant Number

3. Type PERNR Y in PA30

4. When we try to create IT0139 record with B as applicant number, A defaults and needs to be overwritten with B.

Question:

Based on the Issue and the example above, how do we prevent defaulting of the last used applicant number in IT0139?

Hi did you ever figure out how to change the defaulted applicant number on IT0139.
