Hello. Much to much time has passed since your original post, and no doubt you've figured it out by now. I wanted to know if you were successful in using your webex REST API integration from the webex developer tool, to your VLS configuration on the SuccessFactors LMS? I successfully created my webex integration on the Cisco site, as did our 3rd party LMS SuperAdmin but when we used her integration to configure the VLS on the LMS side, she can schedule a class using the VLS, but if I try to use the same VLS configuration to schedule a class, I get a 403 Forbidden error message. We're meeting again Thursday to test the theory that if I use my webex integration to create another VLS Configuration in the LMS, and then I schedule a class choosing that new VLS configuration, that I probably have the permissions and won't get an error. However, this would require that every instructor would have to create a webex integration to hold virtual classes in webex and we have hundreds. I was curious if you were successful and if you experienced any of what I did.
Webex Meeting Center Configuration Settings
Set the values of the Webex REST API configuration file to control how SAP SuccessFactors Learning communicates with Webex Meeting Center.
Element | Description |
api_access_code | The Webex Access Code generated from the OAuth Authorization URL, found in the OAuth settings section of the integration created in the Webex Developer Portal. |
client_id | The value in the Client ID field, found in the OAuth settings section of the integration created in the Webex Developer Portal. |
password | The value in the Client Secret field, found in the OAuth settings section of the integration created in the Webex Developer Portal. This value is encrypted once saved in the configuration file and isn’t visible to administrators. |
redirect_url | The value entered in the Redirect URI(s) field of the integration created in the Webex Developer Portal. |
url_api_address | API address provided by Webex. I used <url_api_address> https://webexapis.com</url_api_address> |
site_url | This field is hidden by default and doesn't populate in the default configuration template. Customers may manually add this field to specify a site URL site that is different than the preferred site of the Webex Meeting Center integration user. This provides the ability to create meetings on the specified site and bypass instructor credential verification. |
