Animated tiles - change in book page template

Hello,

I´ve downloaded the animated tile template dkp-file and defined in master (overview, description etc.), what should be visible and what hided.

I´ve created a few more book pages via Insert - Book page and define one of the master as template.

1. Question - where can I see in my book page that e.g. master-overview is the template?

2. Question - I have to make a change on all book pages where I used master-overview as template. I´ve done the change in master-overview book page. How do I update all other book page where I used master-overview as template?

Right here.

If you want an actual full-page background image, yes you need to add it to each Book Page via the Image property - see the same screenshot (or add it to the template, or the macro initialization). But if you just want to add (e.g.) the company logo on every page, add that to the template as an Image object.

You mention in your email (don´t see that here (?) 😞

It is shown in the Template property of the Book Page, but a quick test shows this is not happening at the moment (shows as a dash). This seems to be a bug.

Does that mean that I have to add, e.g. the background image in each single book page or is there a work around to avoid this?

Ute:

1. It is shown in the Template property of the Page content object (not the Book Page metadata - open the Book Page, and click outside the page area).

2. If you change a Book Page Template then all Book Pages that use it as a Template will automatically be updated to reflect your changes. That's one of the beautys (and sometimes dangers) of using a Template.
