Hello team,
Let me explain the situation:
The employees were imported to production System in February 2024
notification configuration was passed in June 2024
so we triggered a job to collect those employees in the manage alert and notifications ec alerts so they would have their FUTURE notifications pending to be triggered.
then we triggered EC alerts and not. job selecting January 2024 as the date.
What happened to our surprise is that notifications where the THEN statement in the rule is date plus + 4 days have been triggered also, although that date is way passed, the notification has been triggered anyway.
I was assuming that the alert is only triggered if the job triggers (usually today unless triggered manually at a past day) at the Alert effective day indicated here, and if this date is past, then the alert wouldn´t trigger, but it did
Is this the standard behavior to launch notifications long after the effective date has already passed?
Request clarification before answering.
