ALE set up for newly created Objects

Hi Gurus,

Scenario about transferring data from HR to EREC.

Update method in PFAL is not picking the newly created Org Units and Positions, even newly hired employees to E-Recruitment System. Initial set up has been completed using PFAL. Background Job with Update Mode has been setup.

IDOC is getting generated for the changes made to the existing data but how about newly created Org Units/Positions and Hired employees?

When i generate with "Insert Mode", all the data is re-created.

Please suggest.

Hi Sadhu,

I guess this is more a general ALE request, right? Do you use the change pointers to transport updating objects?

Hi Nicole,

I did not use any change pointers.. I followed creating distribution model to generate IDOC..

Is there any specific settings on change pointers...

Hi Sadhu,

The insert mode deletes the objects in the receiving system if they already existed there. Update mode should transport the objects you define in the report RHALEINI in the selection criteria.
