Is it possible to wrap an item (a pdf or Word document) that is hosted outside of the LMS with an AICC wrapper?
Some further context: we currently house policy documents within the SF LMS and AICC-wrap them to document acknowledgement by users. However, a new system has been implemented to officially house policy documents in a 3rd party system. We would like to launch items that open the 3rd party's unique link to each of the documents, but also add an AICC wrapper in order to acknowledge that users have seen the document.

The content shown in the AICC wrapper can be any web accessible content.
You may have a challenge if the third-party site has controlled access. If for regular access - outside of the LMS - users have to log in to access the documents then they may be prompted to log in before the document is displayed in the AICC wrapper content pane. User may also get an access denied error.
