Hi There
Can anyone send me more information on the difference between Aggregated and Non Aggregated list in Story reports and the benefits/when to use each type?
Most of our story list reports have been set-up as Non-aggregated however we have come across some instances where absence data is missing for individuals, however the data is available in the report if it is changed to an aggregated list. As aggregated story reports cannot be scheduled I am reluctnant to then change our reports from non to aggregated.
Kind Regards
Gemma

Hi!
A Cross-Tab story report in SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics is designed to aggregate or group identical values in consecutive rows. When creating this type of report, if there are identical values in a specific column, the first occurrence will be displayed, while subsequent occurrences will appear blank.
Cross-tab: displays the data that is grouped or totaled in two directions. This is the default table.
A non-aggregated list table shows non-aggregated data in a list view in SAP Analytics Cloud stories.
This table type can be used for simple list-based reporting. A non-aggregated list table has all dimensions and measures on a single axis. This table does not necessarily need to have a measure. Because this table type shows raw data in a list, it is very likely for a dimension member to have multiple entries.
The following are features of non-aggregated list tables:
As opposed to the cross-tab table type, a non-aggregated list table is one-dimensional.
Dimensions and measures can be assigned to the column axis.
Dimensions and measures can appear in any order and can be reordered.
Rows display the members of a dimension, or the values of measures assigned to the column axis of the table as data.
Dimensions and measures are managed as similarly as possible, but different behaviors apply due to the different nature of the data.

Styling in non-aggregated list tables applies to the coordinates of the table. It does not apply to the context.
