Adobe Captivate 2019 in LMS

Hello,

We are running into issues with our SuccessFactors LMS not providing completion credit for content created in Adobe Captivate and uploaded to our LMS. I was wondering if I should be publishing the Captivate file as Scorm 1.2, Scorm 2004, or AICC. At this point, I've published the majority of content as Scorm 1.2. On my last published project (Scorm 1.2) that was assigned out to 600 team members, we had to manually provide completion credit for 13% of the members which was not efficient. Trying to brainstorm other ideas so that completion credit can be provided 100% of the time after the final knowledge check is complete.

Thanks!

We use Captivate a lot. We always publish to SCORM1.2, mostly because we want to use the offline capabilities in the SF App.

If most of your users are getting successful completions, I would not look to Captivate or SCORM versions. To me, it sounds like your users might not have third-party cookies enabled. They are required for the LMS to properly work in a browser. Most modern browsers have third-party cookies disabled by default.

Users without properly configured browser settings will be logged out after 1/2 hour, regardless if they are in the middle of a lesson or not. One easy way to tell if the browser is not configured properly is to look at the BizX header part of the user's Learning Home (the highlighed part of the image below). If it is missing the color and graphics that are usually there, then you do not have the correct cookie settings.

There is a KBA about third-party cookies, but don't ask me to find it on SAP's site.
