Admin Proxy in the New Learning Experience

The Admin Proxy in the New Learning Experience now allows the Admin to Start Course on behalf of the user.  Is that expected behaviour?  In the legacy version the Admin wasn't able to see "START COURSE" next to the course.  They should not be able to complete a course on behalf of the user.

@Brenda_Jennings, that's right. It shouldn't be happening. The code correction for it is planned to be delivered via the 2411 patch 5 (it should be already available in preview). Additional details can be find in the KBA 3531315.

Hi, the linked KBA has been removed. Is this behavior connected to the issue that admins can not see the new learning experience at all when acting as proxy?

When Learning admins proxy users, they're to see the legacy Learning user interface, not the new one. That's the current system behavior (KBA 3511497). The fix that was mentioned in the KBA 3531315 has been already delivered, the problem doesn't occur anymore. The problem was: "When Learning admins launch proxy from the User entity ("Action" menu), the new Learning user interface displays instead of the legacy one".

Seeing the legacy user interface when proxying users via the Learning Administration side is correct, not an error. Additional details are available in the KBA 3511497. Yes, I saw this note, but this solution should be modified with the new Learning interface, it is inconsistent for administrators and misleading. Are there any plans to implement proxy admin on Q12025 Release?

This topic was talking about a bug that was fixed, which ended up covering the proxy behavior via the Learning Administration area. The main point is that the problem is gone and seeing the legacy user interface is correct. Yes, there are plans to enhance it - SAP Road Map Explorer.
