Hello you all,
On the task Update new hire's day 1, we have a free text field labeled "additional notes" which is mandatory.
I went to Object definition but wasn't able to find that field.
Is there a way to make them non mandatory?
Thank you in advance 🙂

Hi irisp,
have you been able to remove the mandatory setting for the additional note? If yes, can you please share the solution?
Thank you so much 😄

Hello, irisp,
I`m not sure what you mean, but please, try to edit the settings for the new hire activities: Admin Tools - Manage Onboarding - Configure new hire activity planning process.
To set an activity as optional, click Edit - Details next to the activity you wish to change, and switch the Is Activity optional? dropdown to Yes.
I hope it helps.
Respectfully,
Alina

Hello Alina,
Thank you for your help, maybe I was not that clear, sorry.
I'm talking about a specific field on the task, a field(or "section") that we cannot customize on the task directly (on the tool onboarding and offboarding tasks).
Please see the image below, that's mandatory on the task I was talking about.
Do you know wher can I make it non mandatory?
I've tried on the onboarding task configuration and in object definition, but I can

Thank you 🙂
Hello, irisp,
Do you use Onboarding 2.0?
I found this information: Creating an Onboarding Program. I hope it`ll help you.
Go to Admin Center and in the tools search field enter Manage Onboarding and Offboarding Tasks. There you should find your task and should be able to make it as non-mandatory.
Best wishes,
Alina
