Hello experts,
We have an integration set up between SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
The employee master data, including the Personnal Number (PERNR) like a 00005010, is successfully transferred from SAP HCM to Employee Central.
When an employee submits an absence request in the Employee Time (EmployeeTime) section, the form displays the employee’s name, time type, work schedule, and other fields but the Personnel Number is not shown.
We have created a custom field in the EmployeeTime object called cust_userIdDisplay, and we have already added this field to the UI (EmployeeTime form).
We would like to get guidelines or best practices on how to properly configure the field details for example, how to derive or display the employee’s Personnel Number (PERNR) from the related user or employee record in Employee Central.
We need the Personnel Number to be displayed in the absence request form for reference purposes.
Could you please advise:
how to add the Personnel Number field to the EmployeeTime object; and
how to configure the user interface (UI) so that this field is visible when submitting or viewing an absence request?
Any step-by-step guidance or related documentation links would be greatly appreciated.
