Add objectives through Continuous Performance Management without access to the Objectives page?

Hi everyone,

We have are using both the Continuous Performance and Objectives functionalities in SAP SuccessFactors. We want employees to manage and add their objectives solely through Continuous Performance, without giving them access to the Objectives page. After some testing, we found that it seems impossible to provide access to add and edit objectives through Continuous Performance without also giving access to the Objectives page.

Has anyone encountered this scenario, and is there a way to achieve this within the current system setup?

There is an option to only use Objective plans. Because with the latest release, it appears we can give access to Continuous Performance Management data without accessing the CPM page itself. This would allow employees to create activities straight from the the objectives plan page, so they can maintain everything within one module. 

Still we prefer the option to only use the CPM page..
