Add an Email link on a book page

How do you add an email link to a book page? I used placeholder and added free link but there must be some code that must be entered for it to open an email in outlook when you click on it.

I figured it out:

In the Link field, enter "mailto:", then enter the email address directly after the colon.

For example, it will appear as "mailto:zaphod@willamette.edu" (no spaces).

Hi Danna,

yes, exactly. You can also put a normal text like "Click here to mail me" and then put a link "mailto:zaphod@willamette.edu" behind it.
