Activity completed Alert / notification to recruiter

Dear All,

My client wants to have an alert /notification to the recruiter one candidate submits the required questionnaire which was sent to him though email via questionnaire activity category  and same applies to activities through confirmation activity category.

Is there any way though which recruiter would come to know (alert) that so and so activity has be completed by candidate / support team member ?
