Dear experts,
We are trying to set up a leave request using half day with clock times in Time Off successfactors. The issue is how to get the break segment start and end time on the start date of the leave request so we can use them for the start time and the end time of the half day depending on the first half or the second half of the day ?
Example: working day model: 9h00 - 18h with a non-paid break 12h-13h
1st case -> Employee leave request: first half day
Target wanted: employee leave request start time = 9h00 (start time of day model)
employee leave request end time time = 12h00 (start time of break)
1st case -> Employee leave request: second half day
Target: employee leave request start time = 13h00 (end time of break)
employee leave request end time time = 18h00 (end time day model)
Please feel free to post any help?
Many thanks.

@ROTCHA : Yes, we plan enhancements for better usability to request half day leaves in first half 2025. Please stay tuned and watch our release information sessions. However, due to the fact that this is not yet build there is of course no guarantee. But this topic is high on our agenda.
Best regards
Volker

Hi,
check out this solution that covers exactly what you need:
And we plan in 2025 some enhancements so that probably it gets much more easier.

Hi Volker_Ruof,
Thank you for your quick reply. I have already gone through that blog but this is not actually our need.
Our need is to use the clock times and not the duration when requesting a half day. The struggling point is that there is no way to get the start time and end time of a break of the day model assigned to the start time of the absence in time off when an employee request an absence (using rules assigned to MDF object Employee Time , purpose Evaluate) .are there any improvement that could address that kind of need in the future ?
Another struggling point we faced is that there is no function to add hours to a start time (field of type Time), example : start time = 08:00:00, ==> add 4 hours => target start time = 12:00:00
Rachid.
