About Using SAP Companion for Ariba Guided Buying

In Ariba Guided Buying, we enabled SAP Companion to generate In-Application Help. However, when we started authoring the In-Application Help, we realized that each transaction in Ariba Guided Buying goes through various individual screens.

For example, creating a Purchase Requisition in Ariba Guided Buying goes through various individual screens. So, the In-App Guided Tour added on the first screen of the transaction is not displayed throughout all screens of the transaction. One reason could be - each screen in the transaction has unique context ID, so the Guided Tour created on the first screen does not appear on all screens. This may result in broken user experience for users. Is there a way to fix this?

Thank you in advance for the responses.

Hi Angad,

SAP Companion records the context to two places, one is on the overall Guided Tour and one is on each step of the Guided Tour.

If you open the Element tab of each step of the Guided Tour, you will be able to see the context assigned to that step:

If you then check the context values on the overall Guided Tour, are all the step context values also available on the overall Guided Tour?

If some of the context values on the individual steps are missing, I suspect that that is the issue.
