About using QR Code for Published Content in SAP Enable Now, and Published Content Responsiveness

When we publish any content object (Simulation, Book, SAP Companion Tour, etc.) in SAP Enable Now Manager, we see the QR Code option displayed for the published content. Wanted to check that when a user accesses this QR code from any device, will the content play on all types of devices (Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, etc.)? We have not tested this, but may get a requirement for the same.

  • Simulations and Books open in the content player of SAP Enable Now. I think the player name is "Trainer". Here, will these simulations play in all types of devices (Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, etc.) as responsive content?
  • SAP Companion content (e.g., Guided Tours) play directly on the live target system (e.g., SAP S4). In this case, when the user accesses the QR code for this SAP Companion content, will the content play in all types of devices (Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, etc.) as responsive content? Here in this case, I assume that the target live system (e.g., SAP S4) is responsive as well.

Are there guidelines about using QR for published content, plus the responsiveness of published SEN and SAP Companion content?

The QR Code is just capturing the URL. That URL will open the Trainer in the browser on whatever device you are on. There is currently NO special formatting for the type of device. The best you have is the Zoom for Mobile Playback setting in the Playback Settings, which you'll probably want to set to Zoom to Fit.

SAP Companion embedded help is slightly different and is now supported on mobile devices (it will reformat for the smaller form size) but simulations / Book Pages accessed via the Learning page will not.
