Hi SAP Experts
We have a scenario, an Rehired employee payroll errored out because, the wage type that was active during his active employment was later delimited. now, when the payroll is being executed for the first time after rehire, as it brings the ORT data to LRT for the payroll run, but as the WT is now delimited , the payroll has errored out
Any solution for such kind of scenario (without activating the WT again)

Hi Sri,
You already suggested the approach I would take. Reactivate, then clean-up master data for active and term'd EEs, the delimit again. Iveseen this with wage types, benefit plans, other config, etc.
If you have an ABAPer hanging around somewhere, there might be a way to access the table directly via SE16 or SE16n and change the EDNDA via an ABAP debug session.
Cheers,
Brandyn

You will need to modify the earliest master data change date and master date for change to bonus on the Payroll Status infotype to align with the rehire action - this will mean that the earlier changes are not taken into account.
You can also consider changing the earliest retroactive change date so backdated changes won't be considered going forward should they subsequently appear.
Lastly, a review of if any payments/deductions against the previous employment should be undertaken and either handled via an offline process, or brought into the current employment period.
