2H 2024 Reporting deprecation of BIRT & multi domain reports

hello Partner Community,

we are following closely the deprecation for SAP SuccessFactors Platform reporting functionality, being currently announced for 2h 2024 and 2h2025.

Within the material we weren't able to find the following type of report will be considered as "Classic", therefore deprecated on Nov.2024 or Table-like Report, Nov.2025:
- BIRT enhanced report based on tables

- Custom Dataset-enhanced custom reports

shall be possible to have a further deepdive on the timeline of deprecation of the abovementioned clusters of report?

Hello,

 Any reports using BIRT will no longer be able to use BIRT when they are retired.  Example:

If a Custom Spreadsheet (RDF) report is using BIRT on top of the data source, it will not be able to do so after 2H 2024 when that report type is retired.

If a Table report is using BIRT on top of the report as a data source, this can continue to operate currently as there is no retirement date for Table reports currently.

Also, this has no bearing on Custom LMS reports in PRD.  PRD is not a part of these announcements.

Dear Marco,

Thanks for this important questions. Does "BIRT enhanced report based on tables" include LMS custom reports with Plateau Report Designer? Is there a plan to retire this?

Currently we do not see any alternative to PRD. People Stories are great - but you cannot schedule any reports there. So, no solution for regularly required reports...
