we no longer seem to be able to submit a blank search to the learning catalog from the new learning home page experience. as a result, we need to type in something, wait for the catalog search to load, reset that search results, in order to make full use of the filtering & settings, before we can submit the actual key word for which we do want to get the desired search results.
Will this behaviour remain, or will we be able to submit a blank search?

Hi @emanuelvynck: With the new integrated Learning experience, we've expanded what can be searched, provided additional filters to narrow the search results, and improved the overall user experience. You will see keywords highlighted in the description of the search results, the count next to filter options, the ability to filter by attribute, and the bookmark action from the results page.
There is indeed a change in behavior: A keyword is now required to trigger a search, which helps learners find the best results, faster. The "empty search" option had the purpose of helping learners discover new content, but with the new experience, learners will directly receive learning recommendations that are personalized right on the home page. In addition, learning content is even easier to discover now since users see suggested results and search keywords as they start typing into the search bar. Hope this helps!
