2 days per month time account

Hi,

I tried to calculate 2 days per month being added to the time account type, its monthly based.

Put a cap on the limit:

Days are not being added up to the limit: 20.

Can anyone help with this function? The requirement is to add 2 days monthly up to 20 days on the time account balance.

If I understand your requirement correctly, monthly 2 days has to be accrued and whenever the time account balance reaches 20 days then accrual has to stop.

Always the accrual has to maintain 20 days as a maximum cap in the time account after the time off request. Whether my understanding is correct?

Hi @ArunSuresh3, the carry over between each civil year should happen yes, accrues on the first civil year (not calculated with seniority) 2 days each month up to 20 days, second civil year (not seniority) accrues 2 days each month up to 22 days, 3rd year just 22 days normal. Another question rises to me here, if the time account is monthly, will there be a new time account for when that civil year ends? Because the time account type would be set to monthly in my scenario, no? Best regards, DP

Hi Daniela,

If your time account is configured as "Recurring" then every year based on the account creation set up, new account gets created. Let me share you the configuration for 20 days capping for 1st year and 22 days capping for second year. So you can try the use cases.

1. Create a look up to validate the capping accrual as 20 days for 0 to 1 year and 22 days for 1 year to 99 year (can be changed based on the requirement)

2. In the accrual rule, create variable to set the "Max Limit" from the look up 

3. In Accrual rules, create couple of logics/blocks using "Cap Accrual ()" function. 1st block for user's seniority less than 12 months and 2nd blook for user's seniority greater than 12 months. In both the block at Account Limit section map the variable "Max Limit" which will take care of capping.

@ArunSuresh3 Its civil years, not by seniority so the seniority cannot be used.
