Dear Community,
In 1H 2024 release, there is an improvement for learning about "Improved Progress Tracking for SCORM Content". Anyone can give more (technical) detail about this? Thank you.
Request clarification before answering.
Here are the details:
The suspend data for online content controls how progress on a learning session is stored and retrieved. We've increased the suspend data limit for SCORM 1.2 content to 64,000 characters to provide the additional storage capacity required for content progress to be successfully stored and retrieved.
Some eLearning authoring tools (like Articulate Rise) tend to try to store tons of data in the suspend date field. If they exceeded the previous limit of 4096 characters, the lesson would not save the user's place in the lesson.
Increasing the limit will allow for longer lessons to be able to store the users' place in the lesson.
