12031 error - SAP Enable Now Producer

Hi,

Your earlier advice on data migration has been great and we've got further forward!

Two of the resources though are causing error messages during the data migration, both in the playback dictionaries. (screen shot given). Every time this error messages runs I can see that I've been flagged as editing both items in Manager, even though I haven't. I'll cancel the editing and and then restart the process but we just go round the full cycle of this happening again.

Any further advice would be much appreciated!

Katie

Hi katiep,

Could you please delete this faulty resource(s) in Manager at all (including Manager Trash folder) and then run syncronization in the Producer. It should upload newer versions of these Playback dictionaries to your Manager.

Best, Anton

Hi anton.mavrin,

Thanks for coming back to me regarding this. We're getting these errors after upgrading Manager and then trying to do the data migration in the upgraded version of Producer. Will deleting the resources not impact on this?

Thanks, katie.

katiep,

Normally, we don't need to delete any resources, but it could be needed when some of them were "customized" by customer inproperly. In your case I noticed, that you were trying to sync more than 10.000 objects. Prior deleting resources, could you please try to upload to Manager only resources, not the whole workarea?

Playback dictionary contains texts used for playback. Normally, customers do not customize it, but Simulation Recording dictionary only.

Does your Producer crash on the same resource or different every time?

BTW, if you can drop me an email to anton.mavrin@sap.com, we could have a quick troubleshooting session.

Hi anton.mavrin,

Thanks for all your support with this. The system was previously managed by another person so I'm unaware of them customising anything, is there a way I can check this?

Producer never crashes, it just shows the error in previous screenshot and it's always the same two resources. Strangely, if I try to show the details of the data migration, the resources which are causing the error are greyed out (screenshot attached).

That's for sending across your email address I'll be in contact!

Thanks, Katie enable-now-2.png
