What's new in SAP SuccessFactors Core HR for the Q3 2019 release?

The Q3 release for SAP SuccessFactors provides several important new features and functionality for our customers. In this post, I will provide some context and visuals around the third quarter innovations in HR Core & Payroll.

Manage Pending Hires

You asked so we delivered! In this release, we have improved data transfer between SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central with an enhanced user interface that provides flexibility on what pre-hire data is displayed, streamlining the process for managing pending hires.

We have now added the ability for users to use Enhanced Manage Pending Hires in the Recruiting screen to sort, filter, as well as recognize records that are already in the Draft folder and in the Workflow approval process. Enhanced Manage Pending Hires comes with configurable columns and configurable columns names as well.

Why is it important? This allows you to more efficiently conduct hiring and improves your ability to do so in the user scenarios that you use most.

Enhanced Manage Pending Hires in the Recruiting screen now offers more flexibility and record recognition in the Draft folder and in the Workflow approval process.

Address Validation as a Service

We are now releasing Address Validation as a Service in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central to help validate an employee’s address and ensure accuracy with our initial release starting in the Netherlands available in Q3 and subsequently additional countries in 2020.

To activate follow these three easy steps:

1. Subscribe the service by DQM microservice


2. Configure the data in Integration Center


3. Configure the address validation settings in the Admin Center

Localization

One of our biggest strengths at SAP SuccessFactors is we deliver true localization for global organizations. SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) supports 98 countries and ECP now supports 45 countries with the addition of Belgium and Indonesia this quarter!
